Use This Tool to Grab a Free Flight With Credit Card Points

JuicyMiles compares award programs for every flight

I have thousands of points and miles stretched across different credit cards, and yet it never seems like I have enough to grab a free flight. Even if I did, the redemption process for points is rather opaque.

JuicyMiles provides an easy fix. Awful name aside, JuicyMiles is a pretty useful online tool that allows travelers to book flights easily via mileage and point redemption programs.

Basically, you input your destination, plus when and how (first class, business, etc.) you want to fly. From there, the site presents you with flight options based on different membership reward points, which you can then refine by number of stops and specific programs (or if you want to, say, mix one segment of your flight in business class with one in economy). Once you find the miles redemption you like, you can book your ticket in a few clicks.

As the site Frequent Miler notes in its review, this isn’t a great site if you just just have one card with airline mile rewards. The strength of the site lies in having miles and points across multiple programs, so you can compare rates. It’s also good for figuring out if and how non-airline points (e.g. Marriott Points, Amex Membership Rewards) can be transferred to airline programs. The site also offers tools for making mileage runs so you can hit certain airline status goals.

The only drawback is that there’s no free option; the best you’re gonna do a is $9.99 pricing plan for five days of unlimited search. Otherwise, it’s $30/month, or $200 for one-on-one bookings with the site’s awards experts.
