The pieces in the Levi’s WellthreadTM X Outerknown capsule collection — which includes two rinses of 511 jeans and two Trucker jackets — were finished using 70% less water than standard denim processing at factories that participate in Levi’s Worker Well-being initiative.
Constructed to maximize durability, the jackets and jeans just the first example of a long-term collaboration between Levi’s and Outerknown that will regularly release seasonal collections.
“There is this false notion that ethical fashion can’t also be good looking or cool — that ethics and aesthetics can’t exist together,” said Levi Strauss VP Paul Dillinger. “Outerknown is helping us break that perception and show that we can make ethical, amazing-looking products that don’t sacrifice sustainability.”
Priced from $128 to $185, the collection is available online via Outerknown and Huckberry.
