The start of college football means only one thing: once again, you’ll be on the sidelines while your alma mater makes boneheaded decisions — like hiring Randy Edsall, and then not firing Randy Edsall. As they say on the Internet, Terps derp.

Deliver your impassioned perspective in person, thanks to Fandeavor, a new VIP backstage service for sports fans.

Just launched by former Zappos guys/superfans, Fandeavor curates immersive experiences for college baseball, basketball and football fanatics, giving you insider access that’s typically available to only the most ardent/philanthropic of boosters.

Game experiences run the gamut from pre-game field and locker room access, to one-on-one talks with coaches, to private stadium tours, meet ’n’ greets with players and team “luminaries,” and even “mention of their names over the public address system,” if that’s your thing.

You can either bid for experiences or, in some cases, buy them at a set price (starting at around $250 and going all the way up to the just sold-out $10,000 for a 70-person package at Thursday’s USC opening game). Currently, the site offers packages for TCU, Arizona State, UNLV, USC and a few others, with more schools (and pro teams) tentatively planned for fall.

Perfect time to express an opinion on how to utilize Tim Tebow.
