Gentlemen, there is a trend afoot in the menswear game. It’s one that we told you about back in our Fall Style Issue, and now it is seemingly everywhere.
It is the jogger trouser, and we wholeheartedly endorse you giving it a rip at Zanerobe’s limited-time pop-up shop in SoHo.
For the uninitiated: think of the jogger as a conflation of trouser and sweatpant. Basically relaxed-fit chinos with elastic ankles.
They are the pant of the moment, and Aussie street stylists Zanerobe wrote the book on ‘em.
First, grab yourself a pair of Dynamos in white. Come Memorial Day, these’ll be your go-to with a printed button-up and a pair of loafers.
Next, a pair of Sureshots in black. Pair them with a clean white tee, crispy sneaks and this bomber and you’re good to hit the town.
Third, one of Zanerobe’s extra-long “Eight Foot” oxfords — the Aussies wear them out, but your correspondent has found that the extra length makes for supreme tuckability.
The shop also stocks some seriously snazzy swim trunks and a range of slickers from Danish downpour-defiers Rains. Best looking rainwear we’ve seen in a minute.
Because no doubt spring’s got some of that in store, too.
For nine more spring must-haves, be sure to check out last week’s Spring Style Issue.
