Who said it? Robin Hood, of course, vigilante folk hero, proto-Marxist and the namesake behind an NYC organization that has been fighting poverty in the city for past 25 years.
That Robin Hood would like to borrow from you. And they’re willing to make it worth your while.
On May 9th, Chance The Rapper, Citizen Cope and the New York Yankees will be joining the ranks of the foundation’s merry men for a fundraising effort called Night for NYC.
Chance will headline at Terminal 5 with a surprise guest, Cope will perform at Irving Plaza and the Yankees will take on the World Series-champion Kansas City Royals in the Bronx.
Tickets for the shows — which include open bar access and pub snacks — are $150-$250 and seats at the game are $75 with 100% of the purchase price going to help feed a family of four for a week or help provide one night of safe shelter for a NYC family.
