Porsche’s New Passport Service Is Like Netflix for 911 Lovers

Want access to 22 different Porsche models?

The worst thing about subscription services like Hulu and Netflix is the paradox of choice: with so many options, actually selecting one can be an exhausting process.

That’s one reason we’re huge fans of a new subscription service call Passport — they keep their inventory edited town to a tidy, more manageable 22 options.

Another reason we like it: the thing you’re subscribing to is a fleet of Porsches.

Debuting in Atlanta and possibly expanding to other markets if successful, Porsche Passport will give its monthly subscribers on-demand access to up to 22 different Porsche models, including the 911 Carrera, Cayenne, Cayman, Boxster, Panamera and Macan. Offering unrestricted mileage and “frequent vehicle exchanges,” Passport holders will use an app to schedule pickups and dropoffs with a personal concierge who is responsible for maintenance.

The program will initially offer two tiers of membership: the $2,000 Launch (access to eight models) or the $3,000 Accelerate (access to all 22 model variants, including hybrids). Both of the month-to-month Passport plans include a $1 million liability insurance policy, roadside assistance, taxes, full detail washes and cleaning.

Starting in November, Atlantans who pass a background/credit check and pay a one-time fee of $500 can hit the road.

Download the app and start planning your move down to Georgia.
