Owning one of the most expensive cars in existence unfortunately also means owning one of the most expensive cars to maintain.
Too bad dealers don’t offer unlimited warranties. Oh wait, this one does.
In conjunction with upscale U.K. dealer Tom Hartley, Warrantywise is offering a 12-month warranty on the $2.47 million Bugatti Veyron, with unlimited claims up to the value of the car covering wear and tear, roadside assistance and car hire. Additionally, it covers all mechanical and electrical parts, including oil seals, labor rates, air-conditioning, gaskets, drive belts, wiring looms and radiators.
“Servicing and repair costs will always run into the tens-of-thousands, so we wanted to provide Tom Hartley and the Bugatti’s new owner with the best possible cover to make sure there are no unexpected bills at the start of their ownership,” said Lawrence Whittaker, CEO of Warrantywise. “We’ve got experience in covering almost every car on the road, from Fords to Ferraris, but this latest Bugatti warranty is really the pinnacle of our line-up.”
But all the warranty in the world won’t cover the main cause of Bugatti repair needs: the driver’s ego.
