L.A.’s traffic poses a bit of a conundrum for bike commuters.
On the one hand: there are cars everywhere and idiots are driving them — biking would probably be faster.
On the other: there are cars everywhere and idiots are driving them — biking could get you killed out there.
If only there were a means to make it a bit safer.
Like, say, the Ultimate Lumen Jacket from L.A.’s Project Shadow Co, a weatherproof windbreaker that keeps bikers and runners aglow both stylishly and prudently.
They’re offering three jackets — the Ghost, the Olympian and the Shadow — the first two of which absorb natural light during the day and then glow it off at night. The fits are modern and slim, and each edition comes with a slew of high-tech features, from media pockets that keep wires sorted and concealed to a magnetic insert that keeps your earbuds in place when they’re not in use.
Kick them a buck and they’ll be grateful. Kick them $95 and you get in at an early bird special.
There aren’t many spots left before the price goes up, so get on your bike and help ‘em out.
