Spend any amount of time outdoors and there’s a good chance you’ll spot two well-established brands: Teva and Cotopaxi. The former, a footwear pioneer that developed one of the first sport sandals and the latter, an outdoor apparel brand known for its ethical means of manufacturing, come from different industries. But that doesn’t stop them from coming together in the name of creative, calculated design.
With the launch of the Teva x Cotopaxi Cold-Weather Collaboration, the shoemaker and adventure gear company deliver just that.
“We are thrilled to partner with Cotopaxi for a second time, this time outfitting our fans for all of their cold-weather adventures,” says Sarah Carter, Marketing Director at Teva.
“In addition to a shared dedication to bettering our environmental practices, Cotopaxi shares our passion for increasing equity in the outdoors, especially amongst youth, and we’re honored to help support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hollywood and Denver through our partnership.”
The collection offers best-sellers from each brand. For its part, Teva adds unique color-blocking to its ReEmber Slip-on that features recycled materials and a collapsible heel, making it perfect for cool commutes or the home office. Cotopaxi, meanwhile, embraces the same color scheme on its Teca Cálido Hooded Jacket, a crucial mid-layer for fall that’s reversible. The brands are also donating a total of $30,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Denver and Hollywood to support youth leadership, education and access to the outdoors.
The latest earth-friendly alliance comes hot on the heels of an equally rare summer collab between these two brands. That exclusive collection sold out in a matter of days, and this one probably will too.
