Ten Thousand x Rostarr
Ten Thousand never disappoints when it comes to quality or collaboration; the athletic apparel brand has released a series of much-loved projects throughout the year, including the IH favorite Rich Roll capsule. For their final drop of 2021, Ten Thousand has joined forces with with visual artist Rostarr to give the classic running kit — a lightweight shirt, session short and training crew sock — a little black and grey makeover, with low-key graphics adorning the 3-piece collection.
Adsum x Merrell 1TRL Hut Moc
For years, the Hut Moc has been clowned on, dissed and flat-out overlooked, a true disservice to elite hiking brand Merrell and to the greater genre of mule-esque footwear in general. But no longer. NYC cool-kid brand Adsum has re-imagined the polarizing style, with a suede house slipper overhaul to the classic outdoor shoe. Perforated and complete with EVA-rubber outsole and soft leather footbed, the style can be worn on your hardwood, at the trailhead or anywhere else your muled-up travels might take you. We can only say that it’s about time.
Hamilton PSR MTX Watch
Continuing its legacy of cinematic timepieces, Hamilton is releasing a limited-edition version of its iconic digital watch to celebrate the new Matrix movie. The classic PSR is itself an update of the brand’s Pulsar — the world’s first digital electronic watch, which debuted in 1970 — and this new MTX edition gets a number of cool upgrades, including green LCD numerals, black PVD coating and a caseback engraved with the franchise’s immediately recognizable digital rain. Only 1,999 are available, a nod to the year The Matrix first hit theaters.
Miller High Life Gingerbread Dive Bar Kit
Beer-infused walls make up this holiday house, with wall art made of sugar, a tiny jukebox and an edible pool table, as well as pretzel pool cues and candied pool balls. Available starting Dec. 6.
Buck Mason Donegal Cardigan
Remember Robin Williams’ role of the kindhearted, Boston therapist in Good Will Hunting? Well, believe it or not, the inspiration for said character actually came from this very sweater. Probably. Regardless, the Buck Mason Cardigan, part of their new Donegal Collection, has all the charm of a weightlifting, Southie-born father figure, albeit with a little less baggage. Made from a merino wool blend, the sweater is soft enough to wear 24/7 and sturdy enough to handle winter’s worst for years to come.
Tesla Cyberquad for Kids
Elon Musk is coming for the hearts and minds of your children … via this admittedly cool (but $1,900) four-wheel ATV, which features a full steel frame, cushioned seat and adjustable suspension with rear disk braking and LED light bars. Powered by a lithium-ion battery with up to 15 miles of range and a configurable top speed of 10 mph, Cyberquad for Kids is apparently suitable for anyone “8-years old and up.” Currently, sadly, out of stock.
101 Craft and World Whiskies to Try Before You Die by Ian Buxton
Forget Scotland, Ireland and the United States when it comes to whisk(e)y … if just for a moment to read a guide to all the other great brown spirits from around the globe, from Austria to Argentina and Norway to New Zealand. Then compare it to our own world whisky guide.
The James Brand Redstone Knife
The Redstone is a funny little blade with some serious functionality. Its whimsical design is inspired by the super grippy, multi-colored holds you’ll find on climbing walls (most apparent in the bright coral and turquoise edition). But its features were developed with professional rock climber and photographer Savannah Cummins who knows what you need when you’re in the middle of nowhere, which is why it’s lightweight with a partially serrated blade, wire pocket clip and ambidextrous slide-lock mechanism.
Taylor Stitch x Holubar Flatiron Jacket
In the market for a new winter coat? Taylor Stitch just released the only one you’ll ever need. The Flatiron jacket combines both the technical prowess and heritage of Holubar with the Taylor Stitch commitment to ecological responsibility, manifesting via organic, high-quality materials and utility-focused features (i.e. a removable alpaca hood).
M&H Apex Dead Sea Whiskey
What happens when you craft a whisky at the lowest (and one of the hottest) places on Earth? The Israeli distillery M&H was aged in the Dead Sea area, resulting in notes ranging from spearmint to black tea leaves to candied ginger notes.
