Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: Sexy V-day cards from Kristen Liu-Wong, the 100th Anniversary Cartier Tank Cintrée and a new all-natural sparkling cocktail.

100th Anniversary Cartier Tank Cintrée Watch
There are limited-edition watches, which are produced in small quantities and released at a certain time for anyone with speedy fingers (or even speedier bots) to buy. Then there’s the new Cartier Tank Cintrée, a timepiece celebrating the 100th anniversary of the curved variation on the classic, which, as Hodinkee noted this week, was originally only delivered to a handful of devoted Cartier collectors in lieu of a formal announcement. Now that the news is out, it seems 150 have been made and they’re going for $29,900 each — that is, if they haven’t been snapped up already.
Huckberry x lululemon Navigation Down Jacket
A Huckberry exclusive (that’s already sold out in a few sizes), this water-resistant layer is insulated with 700-fill power goose down for warmth … but still features plenty of performance stretch.
Roark Run Amok
For over a decade, Roark has been churning out accessible, adventure-ready clothes, but now it seems they’re ready for the next adventure, so to speak. This week the brand launched Run Amok, a new line of technical apparel that they describe as gear “for the runner who doesn’t necessarily identify as a runner.” We’re talking high-performance shorts, tees and jackets that are actually pretty damn stylish.
UT Uniqlo Keith Haring x Tokyo
Uniqlo unveiled a new collection inspired by legendary artist Keith Haring’s work he created in Japan. The new line includes hoodies and tees featuring the artist’s iconic figures, signature and references to his Pop Shop in Tokyo.
Doc Martens 1461 Lunar New Year Leather Oxford Shoes
For the Year of the Ox, Doc Martens’ Lunar New Year shoe draws inspo in the sole, laces and decorative charm from the gemstone Jade, a mineral that has special meaning within the Chinese culture.
HANSHO (Midnight)
As reported by MetalSucks, America’s last rock band is not only collaborating with Vans on new shoes, but also part of a new sake with Tatenokawa. As the sake brewery notes (translated), “Members of Foo Fighters, who love sake, actually tasted and brewed two types of Junmai Daiginjo sake based on their favorite sake.” Japan only for now, on sale Feb. 5, the same day as the Foo’s new album.
Ellsworth + Ivey Ski Town Collection
Show pride for your favorite ski town with Ellsworth + Ivey’s latest collection of super-soft cotton blend sweaters. The line features both men and women’s styles in a variety of patterns, colors and ski towns.
Zuzu Sparkling Cocktails
The new female-founded bottled sparkling cocktail company claims to offer a “hangover-proof” drinking experience due to zero “natural” flavors, synthetic sweeteners or preservatives. The sparkling drinks are instead made with pure agave spirit, fresh citrus, a touch of agave syrup and sea salt, with its agave spirit sourced directly from a family farm in Jalisco, Mexico. Currently, you can find Zuzu’s Calamansi Lime and Passion Fruit flavors in select NYC liquor stores or for purchase online for NYC delivery.
Bombas Underwear
You know Bombas as the sock brand with a conscience, donating one pair of socks to the homeless for every pair purchased. Then they added T-shirts to the mix, with apparent success, so now they’re expanding to underwear. At the outset, they’re offering men the choice of cotton modal boxer briefs, trunks or classic briefs, alongside a women’s line. If you need to freshen up your underwear drawer, this is a great option to consider.
Sophie Robertson Organic Cotton Masks
To say we’ve tried a lot of masks would be a bit of an understatement. And while different masks serve different purposes, for an everyday wear you can’t do much better than these super comfy numbers from independent British designer Sophie Robertson — excellent coverage, easily adjustable straps, a moldable nose bridge wire that keeps the mask firmly in place (even when you’re talking) and a butter soft interior that’s both easy on your mug and easy to wash. Plus a handy cloth pouch to keep it in when it’s not on your face. In Robertson’s native London, this is what they refer to as “the dog’s bollocks.”
Dragon’s Milk Reserve Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout
We’ve been big fans of Dragon’s Milk’s original bourbon barrel-aged stout for a hot minute, with nice notes of coffee and chocolate augmented with a dose of vanilla and oak courtesy of a three-month stay in those bourbon barrels. Thus we cannot wait to get our hands on their latest concoction, featuring peanut butter and cocoa nibs — the plan being to drink the majority of the stash and use the rest to make this killer caramel corn.
Kristen Liu-Wong’s Saucy Salutations Pop Up Greeting Card Set
Artist Kristen Liu-Wong is offering sexy pop-up Valentine’s Day greeting cards featuring her unique, saucy artwork just in time to send one to your dearly beloved. This set includes three designs on 5.5″ x 8.5″ cards, each in a red envelope, and three stickers all for an apt 69 bucks.
adidas Ultraboost 21
Adidas is set to release the newest version of the Ultraboost, their most popular running shoe and one of the most important sneakers of the past decade. Seeking to redesign the sneaker’s Torsion System (a thermoplastic arch bridging the heel and forefoot), the Ultraboost 21 features LEP, or “Linear Energy Plush,” which ultimately makes for a more responsive shoe. For those already familiar with the BOOST technology, this iteration of the sneaker features an exaggerated heel curve which allows for 6% more BOOST to be use, meaning it’s the series’ most responsive, cushioned and comfortable shoe to date.
SEC. 119 David Bowie “Life On Mars” Tie
Lord knows when we might actually find ourselves in a situation that requires a tie again, but that’s not gonna stop us from being prepared with this banger from SEC. 119’s latest David Bowie collection, modeled after the tie that the Thin White Duke rocked in the 1973 video for “Life on Mars” — we’re not saying you have to get a sky blue suit and azure eye shadow to go with it, but it certainly couldn’t hurt?
Harry’s Deodorant & Antiperspirant
Grooming and shaving brand Harry’s is taking on a new challenge: Deodorant & Antiperspirant. As requested by customers, the brand introduced a three-level system, making it super easy for men to decide the level of antiperspirant they require. Choose between a deodorant for odor control, an antiperspirant for odor and sweat control or an extra-strength antiperspirant for odor and enhanced sweat control — all crafted from ingredients with anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties.
The Last Drop 1980 Buffalo Trace Bourbon Whiskey
Via The Last Drop — a UK-based distillery that hunts down old and exotic spirits, Indiana Jones-style, then bottles them and sells the precious few bottles to the general public — the liquid salvaged for this limited-release (240 bottles) spent nearly 20 years hidden away in the now Buffalo Trace warehouse.
Ralph Lauren x CLOT Capsule Collection
Any news regarding a Ralph Lauren collab is always going to perk up our ears — they’re not terribly common, and the illustrious American fashion house invariably chooses interesting partners. The streak continues with an upcoming capsule collection designed in partnership with white-hot label CLOT, the brainchild of Canadian/Hong Kong designer (and actor/rapper/singer) Edison Chen. CLOT’s mission statement is to “bridge the East and the West through thoughtfully designed apparel and goods,” an ethos reflected in smartly updated takes on some RL classics (oxfords, polos, the above varsity jacket) featuring subtle but impactful design cues that pay homage to CLOT’s Chinese heritage. The collection drops at 10am on Jan 27th online and on the Polo app, watch this space for further updates.
