Armando Innucci, the creator of HBO show Veep, is hitting the big screen again with a historical satire called The Death of Stalin. The movie is based off on the French graphic novel by Fabien Nury and Thierry Robin, according to The Hollywood Reporter and debuts next month at the Toronto Film Festival.
The film is set in 1953, during the days following the death of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. The leading characters, played by Jeffrey Tambor, Steve Buscemi, Rupert Friend, Jason Isaacs, and more, compete for power now that their leader is gone.
The film will hit U.S. theaters sometime after the film festival.
