If you liked watching Scarlett Johansson kick butt in 2014’s Lucy, you’re going to love Ghost in the Shell.
That’s our big takeaway from the highly anticipated film’s first full trailer, which was just released. The movie, an adaptation of the hit manga and anime series by Masamune Shirow, won’t reach theaters until March 31, 2017, but the new trailer offers quite an impressive glimpse at what audiences can expect.
Johansson, looking phenomenal in a skintight silver one-piece and wielding a gun that she’s not afraid to use, plays Major, a one-of-a-kind soldier with a human mind but an android body. She leads an elite task force that’s devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists.
The film, which also stars Juliette Binoche, Pilou Asbaek, and Michael Pitt, is directed by Rupert Sanders, the Englishman who helmed Snow White and the Huntsman. And from the looks of this trailer, his visual game is on point.
Watch the trailer below. More than once, if you feel like it.
