George Clooney is back in the director’s chair with Suburbicon, an examination of the darker side of the sweet and wholesome 1950s era.
In the film, Matt Damon is a suburban dad going head-to-head with mobsters and hitmen after his wife is murdered. But in fact, the film is more of a comedy than a drama. The movie was actually written by Joel and Ethan Coen after they released Blood Simple in 1986.
The film also features Julianne Moore and Oscar Isaac. It’s due to be released this October.
