Since his 90s action-hero headway, Steven Seagal has seen his career go through a host of permutations. He’s also written conspiracy theory novels and hung out with Vladimir Putin. As second acts in life go, it’s an especially surreal one. And it turns out that Seagal’s — shall we say — distinctive approach to life is also on display on the place he calls home. This we know because his Arizona estate is now on the market, and it includes one very Seagal-esque feature.
Mental Floss reports that Seagal’s 12-acre property in Arizona’s Desert Mountain is now on the market. For $3.395 million, you too can live in the same place once occupied by the star of Hard to Kill, Half Past Dead and Under Siege. Seagal may have taken the title of that last one literally; one of the house’s features is bulletproof glass on the windows.
The house itself is over 8,000 square feet, and includes 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There’s also a guest house, and the whole thing is situated within a gated community. And, to reiterate: the windows are literally bulletproof.
An article about the house on TopTenRealEstateDeals.com features more information about the home’s location, including the fact that it overlooks Chiricahua Golf Course. So if you like to balance your action-hero moments with a couple of hours on the green, this could be your ideal home.
