Clapton. Cobain. Harrison.
You.
Thanks to a new digital design studio that just came online, aspiring axe men can join the short list of rock legends who’ve had the pleasure of playing on a customized Fender guitar or bass.
At the Fender Mod Shop, customers have the chance to design factory-customized Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars as well as Jazz and Precision basses. From pickups to fingerboards to colors, players can customize up to nine features on their instrument of choice.
Accessible via laptops as well as mobile devices, the Mod Shop design space is powered by an easy-to-navigate software platform that features high-fidelity 3D modeling and lets customers view their guitar from all angles while they build it.
“The Mod Shop is an organic next step in our continued commitment to accompany players on their musical journey,” says Fender CEO Andy Mooney. “The more comfortable you are with your guitar, the better you play.”
Base model pricing starts at $1,650, and customers should be playing within 30 days of completing the design process.
Once you have your Fender set up, you’re going to need a custom ride to bring it to gigs.
Why not a Porsche?
