For all intents and purposes, the Dutch Colonial that stands at 108 Ocean Avenue in Amityville, N.Y., is just another quaint house nestled into a normal-looking suburban neighborhood. But Google the address, and you’ll find out its dark past: In 1974, it was the site of a sextuple homicide; and previous tenants have complained of paranormal activity within its walls. To make matters worse, thirteen horror films have been based on it—including the first and most famous, 1979’s The Amityville Horror.
The house is currently listed at $850,000. Take a short tour of its present-day grounds below (no interior shots come with the Zillow listing). Interested? Click here for more information.
