Who Is Ghislaine Maxwell's Secret Husband?

Congratulations to Ghislaine Maxwell, accused child abuser, sex trafficker and Epstein accomplice, who is reportedly married.

Maxwell’s secret marital status was divulged in court Tuesday, when prosecutors at her bail hearing revealed that the accused Epstein abettor refused to cough up any info about her secret husband’s identity.

“In addition to failing to describe in any way the absence of proposed co-signers of a bond, the defendant also makes no mention whatsoever about the financial circumstances or assets of her spouse whose identity she declined to provide to Pretrial Services,” Assistant US Attorney Alison Moe told Manhattan federal Judge Alison Nathan during a video conference, the New York Post reported.

“There’s no information about who will be co-signing this bond or their assets, and no details whatsoever,” Moe added.

No word on who the lucky guy is from Maxwell yet, but reports point to British tech CEO Scott Borgerson, who was linked to the socialite-turned-criminal last summer when she was rumored to be hiding out at Borgerson’s Massachusetts home in Manchester-by-the-Sea.

Borgerson denied rumors the two were romantically involved back in August, as well as reports that Maxwell was living in his oceanfront mansion. He also denied reports that a dog he was seen walking on Boston Common in July belonged to Maxwell.

According to the Post‘s deep dive into Borgerson’s LinkedIn profile, the 44-year-old holds a Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and “has advised the White House on maritime policy.” He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the co-founder and CEO of CargoMetrics Technologies, and he also reportedly spent four years in the US Coast Guard, serving as a commanding officer and navigator, as well as an assistant professor at the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut.

Whether or not he also happens to be Ghislaine Maxwell’s mystery husband remains to be seen. According to the Post, Maxwell has also been romantically linked to Ted Waitt, the founder of Gateway Computers, who she dated until “at least” 2010. Meanwhile, Maxwell perhaps most famously dated Epstein himself, though a recent report alleges the romance was just a ruse.
