Netflix Is Developing a Show That Is a Mix of "Lost" and "Lord of the Flies"

Netflix is producing yet another original program and it sounds like a creepy mystery show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is being billed as “a mix of Lost meets Lord of the Flies.” The untitled project follows a group of teens who come home after their trip was cut short. But upon their arrival, they see their town is completely deserted but they mysteriously cannot seem to leave themselves.

The show will star Kathryn Newton, a new star who has been spotted in the very popular Blockers and Big Little Lies. No other casting has been announced yet, but fans already seem excited.

I won’t lie. Netflix if you can make a Lost style mystery show with intrigue and characters as compelling as Lost actually was in its prime, I’ll watch it. I didn’t learn from The Event, or Flashfoward, or Fringe and I’m ready to get hurt again.
