If Ja Rule has his way, another Fyre-like festival could be in the works. Rule, who co-founded the flop Fyre Festival told TMZ that he’s considering creating an “iconic” musical festival in the future.
“In the midst of chaos is opportunity. I’m working on a lot of new things,” Ja Rule told TMZ and adds that Fyre Fest is “the most iconic festival that never was. I have plans to create the iconic music festival.”
Fyre Festival promised ticket holders a chance to mingle with celebs, swim with supermodels, sleep in luxury accomodations, and eat fresh local cuisine all while listening to live music on the private island that drug lord Pablo Escobar once owned. Too bad none of that actually happened.
The festival turned into chaos as it was nowhere near ready for guests, leaving folks stranded with no flights home, left to sleep in disaster relief tents while eating sliced bread and cheese until they could be rescued from the nightmare music festival.
Until Rule can get his new festival up and running, he’s focusing his efforts on a new “celebrity entertainment booking and concierge service” called ICONN, Consequence of Sound reports.
The service allows regular folks to book a celebrity for an event or party and sounds pretty much like what the original Fyre app offered.
