I can’t say that I’ve spent much, if any, time in my life thinking about Johnny Knoxville’s penis prior to literally this moment. If you have, however, the Jackass star wants you to know that it’s in perfectly working order, despite having been injured back in 2007.
While most guys who suffer the misfortune of breaking their penis do so during sex, (most infamously, if not necessarily accurately, in the reverse cowgirl position) Knoxville sustained his penis injuries in the most Jackass way possible: a motorcycle stunt gone awry.
“I broke my gym dog a number of years ago,” Knoxville told Variety during a recent interview promoting Jackass Forever, the latest installment in the spinoff film series inspired by the original MTV reality comedy show. According to Knoxville, the penile injury is among the most “well-documented” of the many Jackass scrape-ups he has sustained over the years: “So much has been said about so little.”
But while a dick injury may seem like small potatoes for a man who has injured every part of his body one way or another, Knoxville’s penile fracture was substantial enough to leave the star using a catheter for three years. “The doctor said a couple centimeters down and it would’ve been out of commission,” he told Variety.
Fortunately, Knoxville assured fans that his penis has since made a full recovery and is in perfectly working condition, pointing to his multiple offspring as evidence of his functioning genitals. “I’ve had two children since then, so it’s in great working order,” he said, before adding, “That’s too much information.”
Jackass Forever, which hits theaters February 4, will see Knoxville reunited with his costars for more typical Jackass fare, including an unfortunate run-in with a bull that reportedly left Knoxville with a concussion and multiple broken bones. His penis, however, is still fine.
