The teaser for Oceans 8 dropped today, showing the gang’s eight women leads. The 15-second clip is set to These Boots Are Made For Walking and it shows Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett eating breakfast together. Blanchett’s character asks Bullock’s, “Why do you need to do this?” The clip then flashes through clips of the other powerful leading ladies: Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, and Anne Hathaway. Bullock and Blanchett seem to be in charge of the Met Gala heist that the movie centers around, and at the end of the teaser, Bullock’s character (Debbie Ocean) answers the Blanchett’s question with: “Cause it’s what I’m good at.” Luckily, we don’t have to wait long to learn more, as the full trailer is expected to be released tomorrow.
