Robert Hall
Cabernet Sauvignon
The intense dark ruby red color of Robert Hall’s Cabernet Sauvignon is reflective of this full-bodied, flavorful wine. The core of black currant and hints of cedar and spice along with cocoa aromas echoed by rich persistent flavors of plush ripe fruit, dark chocolate and anise are all supported by balanced, rich, velvety tannins. It’s the perfect pairing with Mat’s playlist, as well as anything off the BBQ, steaks, braised short ribs and lamb chops.
One of the world’s most exciting wine regions, Paso Robles is the pinnacle of Central California’s winegrowing region — rolling terrain, varied soils and warm days and cool nights provide exquisite growing conditions to craft award-winning wines. Founded on hard work and an entrepreneurial spirit, Robert Hall Winery is a pillar of the vibrant and premier Paso Robles wine region. The vineyard’s acclaimed winemaker, Don Brady, is the creative force behind Robert Hall’s premium wines, cultivating the best vineyards to express the spirit of Paso.
“Our goal at Robert Hall is to craft high-quality wines that capture the essence of Paso Robles.” says Brady. “We are proud to source from all 11 AVAs, utilizing only the best of the best for our wines.”

Dinner Dance Party Playlist
by Mat Kearney
Originally hailing from Eugene, OR, multi-instrument musician Mat Kearney helped a friend move to Nashville, TN in the early aughts and loved it so much that he elected to stay permanently. Now a longtime fixture on the Music City scene, Kearney has released seven genre-blending albums and toured with everyone from John Mayer to Sheryl Crow.
Kearney’s latest record, entitled January Flower, is a collection of honest, stripped-down songs that bring Kearney back to his singer/songwriter roots — armed with only his voice and an acoustic guitar, Kearney wrote the majority of the album during a power outage at an isolated house in California’s Joshua Tree. “You couldn’t see anything from the house but the desert and it was so beautiful.” says Kearney. “Stripping it back to me and a guitar and some friends reminded me of how I started and that was the genesis of this record.”
One of my favorite roles to play is house party DJ. These are some classics that don’t miss when you want a room full of people to let down their hair without feeling like they are in the club. I always enjoy keeping people on their toes between classic guilty pleasures and unexpected gems. This is the part of the night where I’m digging into my wine collection for some no brainer crowd pleasing big red wines.
