The term “cosplay” probably wasn’t known to most people a few years ago, but it seems to be making its way into the mainstream. It usually means “costume playing,” explains Insider, and it is becoming much more visible thanks to social media platforms, mainly Tumblr and Instagram.
Alyson Tabbitha is the latest cosplayer making waves on the Internet. She can recreate herself entirely as an endless array of popular characters, from Edward Scissorhands to Wonder Woman. Her costume of Gal Gadot was so good that a couple social media users thought it was actually Gadot, reports Insider.
The cosplayer lives in Florida and on her website claims to be a 100 percent self-taught freelance artist.
