Kim Kardashian took on a new look for her most recent photoshoot: First Lady. The reality star posed with her daughter, North West, and channeled Jackie Kennedy Onassis for Interview magazine.
So why Jackie Kennedy? Interview says Jackie was a mother whose every move captivated the American imagination, just like Kardashian. The magazine calls Kardashian “underestimated, misunderstood, and undeniably fascinating.”
This is Kardashian’s first appearance on the cover of a magazine with her daughter.
Interview says after almost a decade of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it is almost hard to remember a time where the Kardashians were not famous. But Kim, now 36, grew up in front of the camera. Every move she makes is recorded: her family time, her marriage, her divorce, getting remarried again (to Kayne West), having two children. According to Forbes, Kim earns over $45 million a year, purely just by living her life and being herself.
And though people may scoff at how she became famous and made her millions, even calling her a “girl with no talent,” Interview writes that she is laughing all the way to the bank. The reality star also has a cosmetics line, a mobile game “Kim Kardashian,” a Kim Kardashian West Official App, a Kimoji, and of course, her modeling campaigns, all topped off with her Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat accounts, each with millions of followers.
Interview gives the transcript to Kardashian’s conversation with writer, journalist, and trans rights advocated Janet Mock. And check out the pictures from the shoot below.
