John Travolta’s new biopic Gotti was supposed to be released on Dec. 15, but it was pulled earlier this week. Now, the fate of the long-in-development film is up-in-the-air. When Lionsgate Premiere dropped the film 10 days before it was set to open, rumors started swirling that they had lost faith in the film. But Keya Morgan, an executive producer of Gotti, said that the producers bought the movie back so that they can arrange for a wider theatrical release. Morgan says it is a masterpiece, and “one of the best mob movies” he’s seen in years.
