Dinner and a movie has its place.

But you can do better.

For taking it to the next level, try dinner — but on a 10,000-square-foot yacht. When reaching for entertainment, pass on the Netflix and try acrobats and trapeze on Broadway. And as for a nightcap? How ‘bout a little no-cover live jazz.

This is where to take her. This is where she wants to go.

The Feast
There’s really no better way to enjoy the fruits of the sea than aboard a tri-level 10,000-square-foot yacht. A departure from North River Lobster Co.’s first hop-on, hop-off locale, their newest destination is a Fish Bar at Pier 81. They offer quick trips on the Hudson, giving you 360-degree city views while noshing Plymouth Rock oysters, Dover sole and Prince Edward Island mussels along with live music and 26 champagne options. The Feature
A departure from Cirque du Soleil’s blow-out big-tent NYC acts, Paramour marks the company’s first attempt at etching their name in Broadway’s hallowed history books. Directed by Philippe Decouflé, the tale spins the story of a young poet forced to choose between love and art in the glittering Golden Age of Hollywood. Narrative-driven, it’ll pull all the heartstrings, though with no shortage of the sensory-overloading acrobatics Cirque hangs their trapeze on. Official opening night is May 25th, with preview tickets available now. Reserve here

The Final Act
Pull up a seat for some jazz at the Measure Lounge. The still-but-not-for-long intimate affair at Langham Place has no cover: just a one-drink minimum. The smooth tunes of the Avalon Jazz Band combine mellow French ditties with retro swing. It’s the perfect recipe for taking things down a notch over a nightcap. Check it out here
