Full disclosure: we hit this place up twice. The TM Burger is a generous slab of beef topped with bacon, jalapeno jack, fried pickled onions, cherry peppers and special sauce. And it’s one of the city’s best, trust.

Chef/owners Eric and Bruce Bromberg know what’s up. The to-the-point Bar Burger is six oz. of ground chuck topped with herb butter and served on a homemade English muffin, with taro chips on the side. If you’re feeling adventurous, there’s also an eight-oz. “Fed” Burger with bacon ‘n’ blue.

Prepare thyself for The Beast. B&L uses a proprietary blend of three cuts of Nebraska Hereford beef ground exclusively for the restaurants by Pat LaFrieda on the daily. You’re getting a six-oz. patty topped with three oz. of lobster meat, Swiss cheese and a house-made truffle aioli on custom-baked sesame seed brioche-potato. Basically, it’s hand-held surf ‘n’ turf. You can’t go wrong.
