Booking a hotel room for an after-hours party isn’t exactly a novel concept.
Booking a hotel room designed specifically for such an experience, however, is.
And it’s an experience made all the more enjoyable when Houston Hospitality (No Vacancy, Pour Vous, etc.) is handing you the key card.
They’ve partnered with The Line Hotel — which also houses their ‘80s themed Breakroom 86 — on new late-night concept Speek, aka four exclusive rooms outfitted to help you keep the party going until the sun comes up.
While The Line’s rooms cut a kind of industrial-chic figure (think raw but comfortable), The Speek’s rooms take you straight back to the modish warmth of the ‘60s.
There are malm-style fireplaces, retro wallpaper in tessellated prints and muted colors, shag rugs, oval tables and well-stocked bars.
But the amenities don’t stop at the outfittings: you’ll also get bottle service, room service and VIP treatment downstairs at Breakroom 86.
Some of the rooms can accommodate up to 15 people. Remove the bed and you can probably ramp that up to 40.
Eh, second thought, keep the bed.
Luck favors the prepared.
