Secret Dinner. Get on the List.

The Underground Social brings all the foodies out

May 26, 2015 9:00 am

There are many ways to meet people in this city.

Work. Your corner bar. Swiping right.

Or your correspondent’s method of choice: breaking bread.

The best place to do just that: The Underground Social, the new monthly pop-up dinner soirée series, selling tickets now.

On offer: you — and a date (optional) — in a private loft in West Town, experiencing simply the most refined and social underground feasting club in town.

Upon entry, you’ll be greeted by the men of the Underground, a pleasant group of industry vets whose roads converged at everyone’s favorite West Loop diner, Little Goat.

They’ll be proffering cocktails and passed apps before seating you for service.

Dinners are themed (i.e., “Chinese Chopsticks” or “Garden Party”), with past dishes including fresh potato gnocchi in a ramp pesto topped with smoked parm and a killer rabbit boudin in beef jus and spicy mustard aioli.

With only 30 seats, these dinners sell out quick.

Which is why you need to stay up-to-the-minute to get a seat at this month’s event, which’ll be announced soon.

Two ways to do that:

Sign up for their private invite list here.

Or follow them on Instagram here.

As for the theme: let’s just say they’ll be taking the party outdoors for the very first time.

We’ll meet ya there.
