Hillary Clinton will let her guard down — for a price.
The ex-Democratic nominee has announced a 15-city book signing and speaking tour planned for her forthcoming memoir, What Happened, according to Publisher’s Weekly, and the price of some of her packages are making headlines.
Out Sept. 12, the book recounts Clinton’s personal perspective on the tumultuous 2016 presidential campaign, and her ultimate loss to Donald Trump. VIP platinum packages in Toronto, which include two front row seats, a meet-and-greet, photo and book signing with Clinton, are going for as high as $2,375.95 ($3,000 in Canadian dollars). Other packages — like those in New York — rank in the high hundreds. Some venues have a reasonable general admission, including a low $55 price tag for her Washington event, but there are more cities still that have yet to be priced out.
The Los Angeles Times notes that Clinton’s map includes Wisconsin, which she didn’t visit during her campaign, as well as Michigan, where a Republican hadn’t won since 1988 before Trump nabbed it last November.
