It’s the fruit of the labor of the international team behind Trydent Boats: a race boat expert from the Philippines, an Aussie entrepreneur and businessman, and an Italian mechanical engineer who has designed components for Ducati.
The aesthetic is inspired by vintage cars and the rich culture of Filipino racing boats, or “bancarera.” A push-button ignites the Honda GX390 Mega Marine engine and riders can hit speeds of nearly 50 mph. The faster you go, the more lift you’ll get: those wings aren’t just for show. They provide stability and the aerodynamics to do wicked Tokyo Drift-style moves across the sea.
It’s reportedly available to order soon through IndieGOGO, and according to their Instagram, early-bird pricing starts at $3,499 (we presume AUD, which would be about $2,500 in the States).
