Devins are the brainchildren of one American Bill Devin, who produced some serious fiberglass body kits (and a few complete cars) under the name Devin Enterpries from 1955 to 1964. They were bred for the track, with the top-quality SS model smoking even Ferraris and Maseratis in its prime.
This one-piece, hand-laid fiberglass body was sourced and then built to completion nearly 15 years ago by one Scott Zerby, who picked it up from a collector. Zerby raced the car in the US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen and Kohler International Challenge at Road America, and it remains in perfect working order, with a 331 ci small-block V8, Super T10 4-speed gearbox and 450 horsepower under the hood.
