Pulses will go from zero to 60 in record time: Luxury yacht-builder Palmer Johnson and supercar savant Bugatti have teamed up to produce a brand-new series of superyachts.
The sleek vessels span from 50 to 80 feet in length—the first of which will be called the Bugatti Niniette 66. (Fans may remember the more compact Niniette the two companies announced last year.)
The limited edition 66 was inspired by the Bugatti Chiron supercar, and is once again named for founder Ettore Buggati’s youngest daughter Lidia (whose nickname was Niniette). “The challenge was to create an experience and a persona as much as a yacht, from streamlined luxury, sophisticated style, and unprecedented quality. For owners of tomorrow, Niniette will lift your expectations of life even higher,” explained Timur Mohamed, CEO of Palmer Johnson, in a joint press release.
The 66-foot-long Niniette 66 combines a needle-thin main hull, with a pair of left/right sponsons that heighten the boat’s stability even at high speeds.
Structurally, she’ll be fashioned out of carbon fiber, which will add to her rigidity, reduce weight, and increase efficiency (top speed: 44 knots). Her spacious open deck will be constructed out of carbon fiber, leather, and naturally blue morta oak wood. The lower deck features a jacuzzi, sun deck, champagne bar, and fire pit.
