On a Seinfeld episode, after learning his friend George dresses based on mood and that’s why he totes so much luggage, Jerry points out his buddy always essentially wears the same thing.
George’s retort: “Seemingly, but within that basic framework there are many subtle variations only discernible to an acute observer that reflect the many moods, the many shades, the many sides of George Costanza … This is morning mist.”
If you’d like the option to create your own version of morning mist, Nike’s giving you options.
According to Huh Magazine, Nike is getting set to launch almost two dozen new colorways of its already wildly popular and hard to find Air Max 97 after bringing the shoe out of retirement to celebrate its 20th anniversary earlier this year.
It seems the success of the Silver Bullet and Metallic Gold versions of the the revamped Air Max 97s was impressive enough to the Swoosh that the Beaverton-based outfit feels there’s enough demand for 20 new color combos.
The shoes — which will likely start at $100 and go up from there based on previous models — should be dropping periodically this fall and throughout the winter. Stay in the know here.
