It’s ‘Naut’ Your Imagination, That’s a Yacht-Inspired Bentley

You are not, in fact, on a boat

The Bentley Continental GT Galene edition is named after the mythological Greek goddess who personified the calm sea. And it’s a perfect name if there ever was one.

The new limited-edition Bentley is a collaboration between Bentley’s bespoke arm, Mulliner, and Plymouth-based Princess Yachts.

Inspired by the world of luxury yachting, the Continental GT Convertible Galene is polished in Glacier White with hits of Sequin Blue trim and a dark blue topper. Accented with propeller-esque wheels on the outside, she’s donned with pinstripe walnut wood and leather on the interior. The dash is graced with a hand-painted super yacht illustration by Spanish illustrator Jaume Vilardell. And under the hood, she’s packing a 500 horsepower 4.0L V8.

Just 30 models will be produced, primed for 2018 release.

No word on how much the Galene will cost, but it’s safe to assume that prospective buyers better be sporting that luxury yacht money to work this into their budget.
