Like a great TV police detective who liked to get boozy by the train tracks and light his clothes on fire in the bathrooms of strangers once said, a man must have a code.

Principles. Scruples. Words to live by.

This weekend, your code is “motorcycles, beer and knives.”

That is, if you get yourself down to Horse Cycles’ awesome SoHo pop-up, running Friday through Sunday.

Horse is run by a chap named Thomas Callahan. Cool guy. Has a workshop in Brooklyn where he welds custom bikes and poses for photos with his cat.

This weekend, he’s bringing his tinkering to a 3,000-square-foot showroom on Howard St. filled with the aforementioned motorcycles, beer and knives.

Three new models of Horse bikes will make their debut, as will two of Callahan’s first ever custom motorcycle builds (like the 55c boardtrack racer seen above).

Plus: a collection of limited-edition moto helmets, Callahan’s handmade knives and custom-engravable axes, prints by shutterbug Jonathan Nimerfroh (he who captured Nantucket’s “slurpee waves”) and more.

During the day, the pop-up will also function as a coffee shop, where you can work with a hot cuppa in hand and handsome wood furniture (for sale) by Freemans Alley’s Taavo Somer under your rear end.

By night, Horse is throwing parties with free Harpoon brews and DJs spinning classic tracks.

Live that code.
