Sometimes elderly people fall and they can’t get up.

In a country like Japan, where the elderly population is surging and many people age 65 and older live alone, those falls can be devastating.

Perhaps as a means of addressing that issue, Honda has created its firt self-balancing motorcycle.

Unveiled at CES and equipped with Honda’s game-changing Moto Riding Assist system, the bike uses technology from the company’s UNI-CUB unicycle to stay upright while at rest. We have no idea how it works, and frankly, we don’t give a damn.
