Divergent has produced its Blade concept, the automobile industry’s first-ever fully functioning 3-D printed supercar. Created using 3-D printed joints or “Nodes,” the Blade’s chassis will be made from lightweight carbon fiber materials and could be assembled in mere minutes. Its projected performance capabilities include 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds, and each Blade would come equipped with a 700 hp, 4-cylinder engine. Take a visual tour of a prototype below. At the bottom, watch the car in action.
