My, Jeep Wrangler, What Big Wheels You Have!

All the better to go off-roading, my dear

A name like Rattletrap isn’t given, it’s earned.

The 2007 Jeep Wrangler that Martin Barkey Racing blessed with that particular moniker earned its title due to the experience one has after turning the ignition key in its cockpit.

Powered by a twin turbo 12-valve Cummins engine with more than 500 ponies, the Rattletrap has a custom-built frame and jacked-up suspension riding on top of 44-inch Pit Bull Rocker tires.

The folks over at Barkley didn’t stop the customization process by simply making the Jeep longer and wider. They went ahead and outfitted the Rattletrap with an oversized roof, a bumper with a 9,500-pound winch, a handgun case under the steering wheel and a shotgun mount in the back.

After dominating off road-runs from Ontario to the Moab Desert to the Dominican Republic, the Rattletrap’s owner is looking to ship her off to greener pastures and make a little bit on the way.

The Rattletrap is priced at $225,000 and inquiries about her availability can be directed here.
