For once, it seems, we are not gonna need a bigger boat.
Italian yachtmaker CRN just introduced the world to Atalante, a 55-meter behemoth inspired by military designs and equipped with four decks, four VIP suites, a solarium and a fitness center with a Turkish bath and massage bed.
Built custom from the ground up for an undisclosed buyer, Atalante’s stark gray battleship exterior contrasts handsomely with the boat’s more refined interiors, which run the gamut from black teakwood and leather furniture to a marble staircase to wood-panelled floors, ceilings and backsplashes. The yacht allegedly has room for 12 guests and 13 crewmembers, although with a little creativity on the sleeping arragement front, your correspondent thinks you could safely amp that number up fivefold.
Also included: a garage that holds up to three tenders (not included in the build). A nice touch, though we don’t see why anyone would ever want to disembark.
