What do a Bentley Bentayga, Rolls-Royce Dawn and McLaren 570 have in common?
They’re all really, really, good-looking. They’re all also really, really rentable.
Founded last year, CarHopper is an online platform that puts hundreds of top-of-the-line car rentals options from luxury marques like Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin in one place.
In addition to the quality of the cars in its fleet, CarHopper differs from traditional rental firms by letting users pick the exact vehicle they want to drive and then connecting them with the owner via an app. When the terms of the car rental are accepted, users can just pick it up and drive off.
After selling investors on its “transparent rental process” and ability to offer “the most unique cars in the world,” the startup has raised $1.5 million in seed funding and is now available in Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale with other markets on the horizon.
“Whether you want the experience of gliding down a coastal road in a Ferrari or arriving with a touch of class in a Rolls-Royce, don’t choose a car – choose an adventure,” CarHopper says.
Perhaps a good way to drive before you lease, no?
