Most of the time, mindless scrolling on the web leaves you in a bad mood with a bone to pick. But sometimes, you chance upon something so lovely that the opposite is true.
That’s how we felt when we saw this 1961 Ferrari 400 Superamerica SWB Coupe Aerodinamico by Pininfarina, otherwise known as a one-way ticket to a splendid daydream. Since only 32 were ever made, it’s exclusive too. Even better.
Go ahead and lean back, put those hands behind your head and just drink in this heavenly machine for a moment. We did. And suddenly we weren’t at our desk but cruising down a sunny, open road with not a care in the world, only the sound of the 4.0-liter V12 churning out 340 ponies.
For one lucky guy, this could turn into reality. Anyone with a daydream — and several millions bucks to spare — can head down to the RM Sotheby’s auction block next month in Scottsdale and try his hand. Godspeed.
