Amber Gibson is a freelance journalist specializing in travel, food, wine and wellness with bylines in Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Fodor's, Hemispheres, Robb Report, Saveur, Chicago Tribune, The Telegraph, Toronto Star, Bon Appétit and many more. Amber graduated as valedictorian from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and received a fellowship to attend the 2017 Wine Writers Symposium at Meadowood Napa Valley.

Amber has been a full-time digital nomad and citizen of the world for most of her career. Learning to fly planes over the Grand Canyon, spearfishing for lionfish in the Caribbean, dining with Francis Mallmann at his home in Patagonia and waltzing the night away at the Philharmonic Ball in Vienna are just a few highlights. She currently splits her time between Chicago and Vancouver when she is not traveling. Champagne, dark chocolate and gelato are her biggest weaknesses.
