WELCOME BACK: The Boys
It’s the anti-Marvel. Season three of this pitch-black satire of superheroes includes an adaptation of the comic book’s debaucherous “Herogasm” storyline, along with Butcher (Karl Urban) briefly gaining powers — which may result in an all-out bloodbath with the not-so-heroic supes in the Seven. Based on the trailer, the show’s Superman parody, Homelander, has an apparent new kink: Milking cows.

Filmmaker Werner Herzog bases his first novel on the true story of Hiroo Onoda, a Japanese soldier who defended a small island in the Philippines for twenty-nine years after the end of World War II.
