With the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards set to air on Sept. 18, hosted by late-night talker Jimmy Kimmel, it makes sense that he’d be shilling for the annual awards program on his own show.
Last night’s guest was the always-funny Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Saturday Night Live), who himself hosted the Emmys the previous year (watch his opening monologue), and Kimmel gets him talking about the sheer gravity of the event—and his favorite moment. That, it turns out, was meeting Samberg’s comedy idol, Mel Brooks.
