With talks of a Matrix reboot sans Keanu Reeves, one creative film fanatic and editor started thinking about the possibilities for a replacement. Why not imagine casting one of the arguably greatest action heroes of our time, someone whose credits include Bad Boys, Men in Black, and Enemy of the State?
This isn’t such a stretch. In fact, Will Smith had a chance to play Neo in the original Matrix movie but turned it down to make Wild Wild West. He should’ve taken the red pill, it seems.
