In the movies, planets are always comprised of a single harsh element — the ice planet of Hoth, the desert planet of Dune — but never an element that’s totally enjoyable. Like, where’s Planet Single Malt?

Taking that idea and applying it to something even more ludicrous: Bounce!, an otherworldly, 25,000-sq.-foot arena of wall-to-wall trampolines just 45 minutes north of the city.

The perfect fun-time refuge from the last spring rains (check the forecast), and accommodating of families and corporate retreats alike, Bounce! boasts five “courts” carpeted in springy goodness, complete with tramp-covered walls.

Simply call up Bounce! to make a reservation; the facility offers aerial fitness classes, open courts for trampoline dodgeball, mini-tramps and foam pits for youngsters, and basketball hoops suspended above the trampoline floor — allowing even the most vertically-challenged to throw down NBA-caliber monster jams.

Bounce’s rates start at $12 per hour ($10 for kids), and every would-be jumper needs to sign a liability waiver before they step inside.

Because nobody wants to visit Planet Contributory Negligence.
