We told you it’d be faster than a McLaren. We told you Red Bull was giving it wings. We told you it would somehow be classified as street-legal. But until this week, we couldn’t show you the new Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar, because aside from some concept renderings that looked too good to be true, there was nothing to show.

To our pleasant surprise, those renderings were spot on.

Aston Martin has finally released a series of 18 photos showing the interior and exterior of a production-ready Valkyrie model, which the British marque claims is almost 95 percent complete. Featuring many of the same contours and aerodynamic air channels — along with some new ones — as the the concept design, the real-deal Valkyrie does not disappoint in the slightest.

Even still, Aston Martin says there’s still room for improvement.

“The remaining areas of non-structural bodywork are still subject to evolution and change as [designer] Adrian Newey continues to explore way of finding more downforce,” said Aston Martin creative director Miles Nurnberger. “The new outlets in the body are a case in point. Ordinarily the last thing we’d want to do to one of our surfaces is cut a hole in it, but these vents work the front wings so much harder that they’ve found a significant gain in front downforce.”

We won’t act like we’re not impressed.
