We’re all for a rugged, mud eating 4×4 from time to time, but rarely do they come packing this kind of finesse.

From Jonathan Ward of Icon 4×4, the man everyone wishes were their uncle, the perpetual cool of styles past meets the power of now in his newest make, this 1965 Ford F-250 restomod.

A commissioned custom job, no expense was spared, no detail overlooked. What started as a skeletal rust-bucket in a junk yard was transformed into a no-nonsense work truck-turned-modern steed powered by a Cummins 5.9-liter diesel engine. Care went into every inch from the custom leather and plaid heated seats to the nickel plated trim with stainless steel laser cut inserts.

And she’s rigged with most all the modern amenities including trailer braking, A/C, Bluetooth audio and LED lighting in the rear bed.

Tough stuff never looked so good.
